Thanks to funding from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage under the Minister's Programmes (“Protection of Cultural Heritage Abroad”), the long-awaited book “Stan badań nad wielokulturowym dziedzictwem dawnej Rzeczypospolitej” (The State of Research on the Multicultural Heritage of the Former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), volumes 11-14, Białystok 2020, has been published.
Thanks to the financial support of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the monumental publication “Stan badań nad wielokulturowym dziedzictwem dawnej Rzeczypospolitej”, eds W. Walczak, K. Wiszowata-Walczak, Białystok 2020, volumes 11-14, has been published. These volumes comprise more than 2,500 pages of scholarly material documenting the heritage of the Commonwealth beyond the borders of Poland.
Since 2009 the Institute for Research on the Cultural Heritage of Europe has been organising, every three years, a review of research on the heritage of the Commonwealth beyond the borders of present-day Poland. Thanks to the commitment of those involved and growing interest, more and more people working for Polish heritage are coming together. The most recent Congress was held in Rzeszów in 2018 and brought together 115 participants! The books presented here are the outcome of that event.
In these 4 volumes you will find a review of research in art history, history, monument conservation, library science, archival science, heritage inventory, etc.
