About us
The Institute for Research on Cultural Heritage has been operating as an association since 2006; its principal activities are scholarly research and the popularisation of science.
Learn moreThe Institute for Research on Cultural Heritage has been active since 2006 and by 2018 had published around 55 books, including 46 strictly scholarly books in the fields of history, art history, demography, linguistics and cultural heritage.
All scholarly books have been reviewed in accordance with the Publishing Code of the Institute for Research on the Cultural Heritage of Europe. None of the reviewers (each holding at least the degree of dr hab.) had a conflict of interest with the author or with the Publishing House.
Most of the books were subsidised from funds of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for activities popularising science. In line with the competition requirements, each had to be a scholarly monograph meeting academic and ethical standards and to have at least one publisher's peer review by a person with no conflict of interest. All grants awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education for printing books have been successfully accounted for, including those for 3 doctoral monographs and 6 habilitation monographs.
